The sea trial showcased the integration of Metron's Autonomous Navigation Command and Control (ANCC) software with Cellula's Guardian UUV—an autonomous, long-duration, multi-payload platform designed to increase mission success in contested and complex environments. When equipped with Cellula's advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology, the Guardian is capable of operational ranges up to 5,000 km and endurance of 45–60 days—significantly surpassing the performance of similarly sized battery-powered systems. The demonstration marked the culmination of a yearlong series of UUV operations featuring Cellula platforms integrated with Metron's ANCC.

The Scientific Robotics Academy, based at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) in Oban and part- funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, will demonstrate the capabilities of a range of robotics systems during its training course between 3rd – 5th September.

Sealien has secured a contract to design, manufacture, and deliver its Phoenix 600 ROV Trencher system to an international client. The agreement includes the ROV Trencher, Launch and Recovery System (LARS), and Control Cabin. Rated for 3,000 meters, the system is engineered for subsea cable installation, burial, and other seabed intervention operations.

Fugro has been awarded a 7-year framework agreement with EirGrid, Ireland’s state-owned electricity transmission operator, to deliver a full suite of Geo-data surveys for the “Powering Up Offshore - South Coast” project.
