A team of pupils from All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield have been crowned champions of the Subsea UK 2019 STEM Challenge, which saw five teams from across the UK compete to design an ROV to collect plastic from the sea.

On December 10, 2018, OceanGate’s Titan Manned Submersible reached a major milestone by successfully completing a 4,000m validation dive off the coast of the Bahamas. This dive makes Titan the only commercially operated manned submersible capable of reaching this depth.
