C&C Technologies upgrade to Sonardyne Ranger 2 Pro

Sonardyne Inc., Houston, has received an order to supply five Ranger 2 Pro USBL tracking systems to survey and mapping specialists C&C Technologies, Inc. – a subsidiary of Oceaneering International, Inc. The Industry Technology Facilitator (ITF) is seeking proposals on the oil and gas innovations which can make the biggest impacts in transforming costs and increasing efficiencies for its Technology Showcase 2016. The event, held in collaboration with Oil & Gas UK, comprises both a conference and an exhibition on Wednesday 9th March 2016 at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre. It has the support of a number of organisations including the Oil & Gas Authority along with global operators and service companies that are hosting technical sessions including Shell, Baker Hughes, TOTAL, AMEC, Centrica, EnQuest and GE Oil & Gas.

Update on Aker Solutions' MMO Business in Norway

Statoil ASA today announced contract awards for maintenance and modifications services work offshore Norway. Five companies, including Aker Solutions, were awarded framework competition contracts spanning ten years where one or more of the companies may be asked to bid on standalone maintenance and modifications assignments at Statoil-operated oil and gas fields starting in the first quarter of 2016. Four companies, not including Aker Solutions, were awarded main supplier contracts for maintenance and modifications work in Norway.

Technip awarded a subsea contract for the Odd Job deepwater field in the Gulf of Mexico

- Leveraging its expertise to meet ultra-deepwater challenges - Technip has been awarded a lump sum contract by Deep Gulf Energy II, LLC for the development of the Odd Job field. This ultra deepwater field is located in Mississippi Canyon, offshore New Orleans, in the Gulf of Mexico, in water depths ranging from 1,330 to 1,825 meters.
