Greensea IQ Secures $2.79M Contract for IQNS with EOD Edge Upgrade for U.S. Navy MK20 Defender ROV Platform

Greensea IQ, a leader in subsea robotics and defense solutions, is proud to announce the award of over $2.79M contract through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Darley of Itasca, IL, as part of DLA’s Tailored Logistics Support Program. This contract will supply the U.S. Navy with the IQNS system, enhanced with the EOD Edge Upgrade, to improve the capabilities of the MK20 Defender Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) platform as part of the Navy’s Maritime Expeditionary Standoff Response (MESR) initiative.

Seaway7 Awarded Offshore Wind Contract in UK

Subsea7 today announced the award to Seaway7, part of the Subsea7 Group, of a substantial1 contract by ScottishPower Renewables for the transport and installation of the inter-array cables of the East Anglia TWO offshore wind project. ScottishPower Renewables £4 billion East Anglia TWO offshore windfarm will be located around 33 kilometres from the east coast of England in the Southern North Sea. Successful in the UK Government’s Contracts for Difference (CfD) Allocation Round in September 2024, it will contribute up to 960 MW of clean, green energy – enough to power the equivalent of almost one million homes.

Saab’s Seaeye SR20 eWROV Succeeds in Milestone Water Trials

Saab UK announces that the Seaeye SR20 eWROV, its most advanced fully-electric work-class remotely operated vehicle, has successfully completed inshore water testing. The testing was a key part of the verification and validation work package, testing against the specification, measuring performance, and stressing the Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) as a system. In particular, the SR20 demonstrated its high degree of precise manoeuvrability and dexterity, using both manual joystick control and automation. This testing has paved the way for sea trials which will take place in spring 2025.

The UAE Navy Selects Exail's Mine Countermeasures System
