Fugro and PTSC G&S Extend Partnership in Vietnam

Fugro has extended its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PTSC Geos and Subsea Services (PTSC G&S), a branch of Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation to meet Vietnam’s rising demand for geophysical, geotechnical and metocean data services. Under this additional 2-year agreement, Fugro’s full range of marine site characterisation services, combined with PTSC G&S’ local survey capabilities, will support both Vietnam’s oil & gas industry and the growing offshore wind sector.

SHOM the French Hydrographic & Oceanographic Service Orders New Maritime Drone

Following a 7-month competitive bidding process, the French Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (Shom) placed an order at the end of December for a new autonomous underwater micro-drone (μAUV), the NemoSens model, manufactured by the French company RTsys. This order is part of the transformation plan for hydrographic and oceanographic data acquisition methods launched by Shom in 2024.

Teledyne Marine is proud to announce the recent award of In Service Support agreements (ISS) for Slocum gliders and Gavia AUVs from the Royal Navy. The ISS agreements facilitate UK service, repair and operational support of Teledyne unmanned systems currently in use by the Royal Navy and ensure quicker maintenance turnaround times and high operational availability of those systems.
