Datagrid New Zealand today announced the signing of a supply and installation contract with Alcatel Submarine Networks (ASN) and OMS Group (OMS) for the delivery of the Tasman Ring Network, a new optical submarine cable system connecting Invercargill, in the South Island of New Zealand, to Melbourne, Australia. Under the contract, ASN will supply the submarine cable system, while OMS will carry out the marine survey and the installation of the cable.
Rosenxt Holding USA LLC, part of the Rosenxt Group, today announced the acquisition of Zupt LLC, a Houston-based specialist in subsea metrology, advanced 3D subsea inspection, offshore survey engineering along with and technologies supporting renewable offshore installations.
Allied forces also integrated autonomous systems alongside crewed platforms to enhance intelligence collection, logistics support and maritime awareness. During Find-Fix-Track (F2T) operations, NATO AWACS aircraft and the NISRF improved detection and tracking, while autonomous maritime systems increased operational flexibility and reduced risk to personnel.
SubCtech has successfully achieved a major technical milestone in the development of a high-voltage, high-discharge-rate battery and charger system for a customer-defined underwater platform.

Every two years, the IEEE OES AUV Symposium brings the marine robotics community together to share ideas, exchange lessons learned and foster future research and collaboration. Our focus is on the technologies and applications of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), autonomous surface vessels (ASVs), underwater gliders, and Lagrangian floats, with most papers centered on field robotics or data collected from real-world deployments.
Be part of a global gathering at the heart of marine research, technology, and innovation surrounded by institutions like MBARI, the Naval Postgraduate School, and Hopkins Marine Station.
