Kystdesign Secures Landmark Contract with a New International Client

Kystdesign is thrilled to announce its largest contract to date with a new international client, undisclosed for the time being. This significant agreement involves the supply of four Work Class ROVs, including Constructor and Constructor Compact models, along with Launch and Recovery systems (LARS), Remote Operating Centres (ROC), additional spares and extra equipment. These comprehensive ROV solutions will support two Construction Support Vessels (CSV´s) in the client’s fleet.

Ocean Installer and North Sea Shipping Extend Their Charter Agreement

In order to meet contractual obligations and continued strong demand for offshore construction capacity, Ocean Installer, a subsidiary of Moreld AS has executed an 18-month option, extending the charter-party for the advanced multi-purpose offshore construction vessels “North Sea Giant” to the end of Q1 2027.

Teledyne Marine Signs a Framework Agreement with Swedish Defense Material Administration (FMV)

U.S. Navy Awards Contract for Deployment of Future Mine Countermeasures Capabilities

The U.S. Navy has recently awarded a series of contracts, under Program Executive Office, Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC), to facilitate Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Mission Package (MP) deployments. The MCM Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) is an unmanned, diesel-powered surface craft that can be launched from an LCS, vessel of opportunity, or shore. Its modular flexibility allows integration with multiple payload delivery systems that perform MCM missions, including minesweeping, mine hunting, and mine neutralization. By awarding these contracts, the Navy is ensuring it has the most advanced unmanned systems to effectively conduct mine countermeasure missions in the littorals.

Taking place at P&J Live in the Granite City [Aberdeen] from Tuesday, 18 to Thursday, 20 February, the event provides a showcase for the subsea sector and wider underwater industry. Organised by Global Underwater Hub, the leading trade and industry development body for the UK’s underwater sector, Subsea Expo is free to attend and is expected to attract around 6,000 visitors from across the UK and overseas over the course of the three days.
