Water Linked launches DVL A125

23.03.2021
Water Linked are excited to announce that they have a new family member in their DVL product group - the DVL A125.

With an extremely wide operating altitude of 5 cm to 125 meters, the A125 is the swiss army knife of DVLs. Offering a very high maximum velocity of 9 meter per second, the A125 is the ideal DVL not only for ROVs but also for USVs and fast AUVs. Depth rated to 3000 meters enables you to mount it on heavy duty vehicles and go really deep!

Advantages of using a DVL on your vehicle
- Accurate position hold for professional inspections and/or tooling interventions
- Accurate micro movements like “move 1 inch to the right”
- Travel over great distance and use “dead reckoning” to create the travelled path
- Find home even while being out of reach of acoustic positioning systems like Underwater GPS
- Accurate flight path which pairs very well with sonar imagery
- Extreme performance
- The DVL A125 offers unique performance where it matters!

Many customers today are looking for a DVL that pushes the performance beyond the expected - without requiring huge budgets. Water Linked are confident that the A125 will meet and surpass those expectations.

While the legacy DVLs out there have huge blanking distances which is limiting your work close to the seabed, the DVL A125 will give you station keeping all the way down so you can efficiently use your grabber and other tools.

Long range DVLs have traditionally been huge and expensive. Not so with the DVL A125! The A125 will give you bottom lock all the way up to 125 meters above the seabed. This is particularly useful for AUVs and USVs doing surveying work. And for ROVs doing dead reckoning positioning from the surface.
