Forum Energy Technologies (FET) has delivered three of its 200HP Perry XLX-C work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to Brazil-based OceanPact.

Teledyne Marine announces the delivery of three Teledyne Webb Slocum G3 Gliders to OceanPact, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. OceanPact offers services for the study, protection, monitoring and sustainable use of the sea, coast, and marine resources for clients from various sectors including offshore energy, mining, telecommunications, ports, navigation, tourism, fishing and aquaculture. OceanPact Geosciences owns the largest private inventory of scientific instruments in the country and operates two world class Research Vessels, the RV Ocean Stalwart and the RV Seward Johnson, for multipurpose missions for deep ocean data acquisition.

In partnership with Solstad and Oceanpact, Fugro has been awarded three long-term contracts by Petrobras to provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services for a variety of subsea activities in Brazil. All three contracts are for 3-year firm periods with additional 1-year options.

Brazilian geoscience services company OceanPact Geociências has chosen deep water positioning technology from Sonardyne Brasil Ltda. to support its geophysical, geotechnical and environmental research operations across the region.
