Almarin joins 1st World Marine AtoN Day

The 1st of July will be held the first edition of World Marine Aids to Navigation Day, after the decision taken on IALA Conference in Incheon (Korea) in 2018. The main goal is to aware of the importance of the AtoN world by promoting a safety navigation in coastal waters and waterways, as the preservation of the marine environment. International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) also declares that this event is willing to “improve the society’s perception of AtoN as modern, technologically advanced marine aids which, alongside traditional lighthouses, embrace the latest digital developments and support new developments in all fields, including VTS”.
