Seaeye Falcon Picked for Archaeology and Offshore Energy

Italy’s DST (Deep Sea Technology) has chosen a 1000m-rated Saab Seaeye Falcon DR robotic vehicle to support archaeological research and offshore energy. The Seaeye Falcon DR will be employed by Naples-based DST, a commercial diving business, across its operations supporting offshore energy and maritime archaeology in both shallow and deep waters. The Falcon package includes a Tritech Super SeaPrince sonar and skid-mounted five function manipulator and rope cutter.

Equinor has awarded Ocean Installer a contract for installation of dynamic inter-array cables on Hywind Tampen in Norway. Hywind Tampen is the world’s largest floating wind farm and the first related to the electrification of Oil and Gas assets. Seaway 7, part of the Subsea7 Group, today announced that it has been awarded a large(1) contract for an undisclosed offshore wind farm project. The scope includes the transport and installation of inner-array and export power cables and respective cable protection systems. Operations on the project are expected to commence in 2023 and continue through 2024 and 2025. The contract is subject to final investment decision by the client.

Oceaneering and Kontiki Winds Sign Agreement to Electrify Offshore Assets
