North Tyneside mayor officially opens £10million Pryme Group facility

Norma Redfearn CBE, elected mayor of North Tyneside, has officially opened the new, state-of-the-art facility of integrated manufacturing specialist Pryme Group. Staff have relocated from nearby Ryton, Tyne and Wear, to a purpose-built engineering services and manufacturing centre at the Tyne Tunnel Estate, North Shields, following a £10million investment. With operations across the UK and headquarters in Dundee, Pryme Group provides integrated manufacturing solutions for the oil and gas, aerospace and defence industries.

Proserv looking to future growth with new £7million Great Yarmouth facility

Energy services company Proserv is preparing for future growth by investing in a new purpose built technology centre for subsea controls and communications in Great Yarmouth. The move will see around 190 employees consolidate from two sites in the area into the new 65,000 sq ft Beacon Park site in Gorleston-on-Sea which will feature modern office, manufacturing and yard space and provides the flexibility to add a further 20,000 sq ft of workshop capacity. Construction will commence next month with the building expected to be completed during March 2018.

Forum unveils new U.S .Syntactic Foam Manufacturing Plant

Forum Energy Technologies has expanded its specialist syntactic foam manufacturing capabilities with the opening of a new plant near Houston. The six-acre facility in Bryan, Texas, brings Forum’s Syntech product line closer to clients in the oil and gas industry and has the capacity to support future growth.
