Interocean Secures Four-year Extension with Vattenfall

Specialist provider of offshore support services, Interocean Marine Services (Interocean) has been awarded a four-year extension to its frame agreement with multinational power company, Vattenfall. Strengthening the existing relationship, the new contract will see Interocean introduce its remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspection services to support Below Water Balance of Plant (BOP) for the Thanet, Kentish Flats, and Kentish Flats Extension wind farms, alongside the Aberdeen and Ormonde offshore wind farms it already supports.

Nauticus Robotics and Leidos Execute $2.7M Contract Extension

Nauticus Robotics, a developer of autonomous robots using artificial intelligence for data collection and intervention services for the ocean economies, today announced it has been awarded an additional $2.7 million under its current contract with Leidos Holdings, a FORTUNE 500® science and technology leader. The funded extension allows continued development of an Aquanaut-derivative in preparation for customer adoption decisions and government opportunities expected later this year.

Maersk Drilling Secures Extended Well Intervention Scope for Low-emission Rig

Equinor Energy AS has exercised an option to add additional well intervention work to the previously agreed work scope for the low-emission jack-up rig Maersk Intrepid at the Martin Linge field offshore Norway. The added well intervention scope has a firm duration of 31 days, which means that the rig is now contracted until February 2022. The firm value of the contract extension is approximately USD 10.5m, including integrated services but excluding potential performance bonuses.

Seabed geosolutions secures continuity in the Middle East

Seabed Geosolutions, in cooperation with CGG, secured a new extension to its ongoing shallow water operations in the U.A.E. The variation order from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) covers Phase-II of the Ghasha Field project. This new survey is due to start in October and is expected to take approximately 9 months. It has a value of around USD 60 million. With this new award, Seabed Geosolutions will enter its 4th year of continuous operations for ADNOC in the U.A.E., having recently successfully completed the Hail, Shuweihat and Ghasha Phase-I surveys.
