Requirements & Summary

Job Description: Build prototype/product consistently to drawings, completion of paperwork, recording of non-conformances, testing, and troubleshooting, reports concern from the mechanical department to management.

General Duties
• Carry out duties with full compliance to the company’s QMS (Quality Management System), Occupational Health and Safety Management System and Environmental Policy.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the company and its products
• Attend Internal Design, Progress and post project meetings when required.
• Other general duties and administrative duties when required.
• On site work when required.

Duties
• Examine detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material, and equipment requirements.
• Fit and assemble parts, tools, or sub-assemblies.
• Fabricates jigs and fixtures.
• Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools.
• Participate in design/design meetings when required.
• Set up and participate in prototyping.
• Check accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies.
• Complete all paperwork as part of the quality system including completing production and quality logs.
• Create work procedures for the assembly of products.
• Participates in testing finished goods, including pressure testing etc.
• Maintains stocks of nuts, bolts, washers, O-rings, and other sundry items by placing timely orders with suppliers.
