EVENT: Navy Tech & Seabed Defence 2026
28.01.2026
Naval forces worldwide are adapting to an era of fast-evolving, complex threats—from uncrewed systems and anti-ship weapons to cyber attacks, electronic warfare, and now challenges arising from the seabed itself. As peer and near-peer adversaries modernise at pace, it is critical that navies evolve physically, conceptually, and culturally to retain operational advantage across all maritime domains, including those beneath the surface.
Taking place from 3–5 February 2026 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Navy Tech 2026 will now incorporate Seabed Defence, a dedicated focus on the protection of undersea infrastructure and offshore assets. As global reliance on subsea energy networks, communication cables, and military systems increases, safeguarding the seabed has become a strategic imperative. This new component will explore emerging threats to critical underwater infrastructure and the technological innovations needed to defend it.
This expanded tabletop exhibition and conference brings together an authoritative speaker faculty alongside programme managers, front-line commanders, engineers, scientists, and leading industry experts. Across three days of presentations and discussions, attendees will examine how digital integration, expeditionary design, multi-domain operations, and seabed security are reshaping the modern maritime battlespace. With an emphasis on collaboration between industry, military, and research communities, the event supports informed decision-making, identifies capability gaps, and accelerates innovation for future naval and subsea warfare.
In a security environment defined by rapid change, Navy Tech 2026, now enhanced with the Seabed Defence programme — is where naval stakeholders come to connect, collaborate, and contribute to future mission success.
