Enshore Subsea is proud to have opened its doors for business in April 2021 following a management buyout.

The contract covers the preparation of the seabed, laying and burial of three approximately 25km 66KV submarine cable circuits from mainland Bahrain to Hawar Island. This project will deliver electricity and internet from the Bahrain mainland to Al Hawar for the purpose of the development of a world-class eco-tourism destination.

The Enshore Subsea team, with a long track record of construction management and successful trenching projects worldwide, is providing the onshore and offshore management teams to deliver the submarine part of the project.

“The Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain has impressive plans to develop the islands of Hawar which will increase inhabitants, visitors and commercial activity on the island. We are delighted to be playing a major part in this technically challenging shallow water project by deploying the deep construction management experience of our onshore and offshore teams and upgrading our trencher fleet to meet the project requirements.” Pierre Boyde, Managing Director of Enshore Subsea Ltd.

“Enshore’s hard ground trenchers are well suited to this technically challenging project. Our assets are currently being developed and tested by our experienced offshore operators at our base in the Port of Blyth. We are very fortunate to have very positive relationships with local suppliers and businesses in the North East of England since Enshore’s formation in April 2021.” William Stephenson, Commercial Director of Enshore Subsea Ltd.
